12 Pet Brands to Present at Pets & Money Summit

(PRESS RELEASE) Twelve pet brands have been shortlisted to present on the main stage at the Pets & Money summit in Austin, TX on Dec. 6. The companies will showcase their products or services in a live unboxing session.

The Pets & Money summit is a chance for pet companies to connect their products, services or technologies to pet industry investors from angel, venture capital, private equity, financial buyers, strategic buyers and national retailers. PETS+ is a media partner of the summit.

The event offers a private networking platform to secure sources of capital or to find mergers and acquisitions partners. It features speakers and panels of industry experts as they provide insights into market trends, consumer priorities to help shape growth strategy and M&A decisions.

More than 60 companies applied for the first “Best In Show Spotlight,” giving startup and early-stage pet companies the chance to pitch to a room full of financial and strategic buyers. Finalists will receive prizes to help them on their way to growth and success, provided by the Pet Sustainability Coalition, Pet Care Innovation Prize, World Pet Association and the American Pet Products Association.

The 12 finalists are:

AnimalBiome, an early-stage start-up using genomics to create new diagnostics and supplements to restore gut health in cats and dogs.
Dig — a dating app for dog owners.
DOGTV, a TV channel for dogs.
Grand PooBox, a cat litter box that keeps the litter inside the box.
KitNipBox, a subscription box service for cats.
Mixlab, a modern veterinary pharmacy that creates personalized meds and wellness products
PetPlate, a direct-to-consumer subscription service that delivers fresh-cooked pet meals made from human-grade ingredients.
PupJoy, a subscription box service for dog parents.
Puppy Mama, a networking and e-commerec app for women dog owners.
SpotOn.pet, a ride-sharing service for pets and their owners.
Toletta, a smart cat litter box.
Wondercide, a leader in natural pest protection for pets, families, and homes.
