Her work territory is huge, but this New Hampshire pet pro never complains.

HER WORKPLACE spans four towns and 167 square miles, but pet care provider Alix Marcoux DiLorenzo never complains. After all, the New Hampshire Lakes Region boasts mountains, lakes and an abundance of scenic trails on which to walk canine clients. She and two employees also provide vacation care for cats. Three years ago, DiLorenzo and her now-husband Dan survived back-to-back cancer diagnoses and treatments, which she says forced a refocusing that made the business significantly better.
