(PRESS RELEASE) DEERFIELD BEACH, FL — Nature Gnaws announced the mark of its 5-year anniversary. This milestone is a major celebration for Nature Gnaws on its mission to provide natural products for pets.

“It’s amazing to me that we’ve grown so much in such a short period of time. We have 70 employees now that I feel are a part of my family. We’re a family-run business and despite our rapid growth, we have stayed true to our vision of running the company with honesty and kindness, all while getting the work done.” says Jay Mokbel, co-founder and chief operating officer at Nature Gnaws. “It hasn’t all been easy but it certainly has been fun and we are happy to celebrate this incredible moment with our team and our customers.”

This news comes in the wake of many recent initiatives and accomplishments of the company, including:

  • Expanding into an additional Facility to increase packing and shipping capabilities
  • Continuing to hire within their local community of Deerfield Beach, Florida
  • Adding Petco to their market options for customers

Steve Mamak, CEO of Nature Gnaws comments on the excitement of this celebratory moment “We are so taken aback by the love and support we are receiving from our customers, from shelters that we donate to, partners and our team. At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
