(PRESS RELEASE) BABYLON, NY — On Wednesday, April 17, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., American Pet Professionals will host its 10-year anniversary celebration and networking event at Lily Flanagan’s in Babylon, NY. 2019 marks 10 years since the first event was held to bring together pet professionals on Long Island, which quickly grew into a national organization for all pet professionals hosting over 125 events nationwide.

“We are thrilled to be back at Lily Flanagan’s to host our 10 year celebration and networking event on April 17. I cannot believe it has been 10 years since our very first networking event for pet professionals here on Long Island, to unite and gather our industry professionals together. It’s been an amazing, wild ride this last decade for our business. I absolutely love to see pet professionals make incredible connections at our events, watching their businesses grow and prosper, witnessing people working together that might not have prior to meeting – that always brings a big smile to my face and knowing that will trickle down to help pets and animals is the icing on the cake,” said Nancy Hassel, founder and president of American Pet Professionals. “I am so grateful for all of our members, and members that started out with us on the very first event on a chilly night in February of 2009! We are truly in an wonderful industry and I cannot wait to see everyone on the 17th and celebrate them.”

The event will bring together pet professionals from all areas of this nearly $100-billion-dollar-a-year industry. Aspiring pet professionals are welcome to attend and meet like-minded peers, network and learn from some top dogs in the industry who will be in attendance at this event.

This event is an opportunity for pet pros on Long Island and the surrounding tri-state areas to come network, mingle among peers, meet new contacts and learn about what is trending in the pet industry. The event is located steps from the Babylon Long Island Railroad station, so if you’re in New York City it’s an easy commute to attend.

This event will include: passed hors d’oeuvres, a buffet dinner with an open bar (beer, wine and soda); and goody bags loaded with pet products for each attendee of the event and special announcements made. The cost of this event is $85 per person for non-members and registration in advance is requested. Held in the private upper level room of the restaurant. RSVP and learn more by going here.

Official members of American Pet Professionals always get discounted ticket prices.
