The Pet Food Institute has launched a series of interactive infographics showing the ways the key nutrients found in a complete and balanced dog food recipe help pets. The new web resource, “Nutrition from Nose to Tail,” provides facts about the nutrition that fuels dogs’ growth and supports their body systems, as well as non-essential nutrients that can also serve important functions. Online Courses Roll Out
American Pet Professionals recently announced online courses for the busy pet professional. Making every pet conference is not always an option for all pet professionals — the cost of traveling, attending, getting someone to cover their business can add up quickly. Courses offered will cover a variety subjects and be a solution for pet pros who want to learn from the comfort of their own home and who want to return to the course as needed. Many courses will be evergreen and will be updated with new content as needed. Courses will help pet professionals from all levels, whether they are just starting or a veteran pet pro. Women in the Pet Industry Network is seeking experts in the topics of business, marketing, strategy and communication for the sixth annual Women in the Pet Industry Conference and Awards Show to be held in Portland, OR, Aug. 20-22.
