Alphia Acquires Manufacturing Operations of Pet Food Facility in Texas

(PRESS RELEASE) DENVER — Alphia, one of the largest pet food and treats manufacturers for brands and retailers in North America, announced that it has acquired the manufacturing operations of a newly-constructed pet food facility in Pittsburg, Texas.

“This acquisition represents an important milestone for Alphia as we continue to execute our long- term growth plan,” said David McLain, CEO of Alphia.” We are excited to integrate this facility into our network and leverage its efficient design and strategic location to provide best-in-class solutions to our customers.”

The highly experienced, existing manufacturing workforce at the Pittsburg facility will become Alphia employees, ensuring continuity in operations and maintaining the expertise that has contributed to the facility’s success. Alphia has a growth plan to add additional employees at the site and make capital investments to increase production capacity and expand capabilities, while ensuring Alphia’s commitment to quality and food safety standards.
