American Pet Professionals Announces New Members

(Press Release) BABYLON, NY – American Pet Professionals has welcomed several companies as new members to its organization, from all areas of the pet industry. From veterans in the industry to brand new pet pros APP is honored to have the following new members:

  • Jason ONeill of Benji’s Farm, a pet treat manufacturer of organic dog treats are 100% plant-based and grain free – based in Bayport, NY.
  • Jane Harrell of ‘Cause Digital Marketing offering Pet Industry Expertise, Digital Innovation award winning digital marketing results for pets and the brands that love them, Lifetime Member based in Portland, ME.
  • Leslie Stern of Leslie’s Leashes offering pet sitting and dog walking services on the Gold Coast of Long Island, based in Sands Point, NY.
  • Cara Amour of Pet Pro Hero offering online first aid training for people who believe pets are family based in Massachusetts.
  • Robert Tucker of The K9 Shop offering raw feeding products for the Long Island and New York City area, based in Bellmore, NY.
  • Melissa Gillespie of Pioneers for Animal Welfare Society, PAWS Promotes animal welfare and help both people and their animals in need with a focus on senior citizens. This non-profit organization is located in Hicksville, NY.
  • Cathleen Atela, President of Long Island Kitten Solution a low cost, high care spay and neuter clinic for owned and community cats.
  • This non-profit organization is a Lifetime Member based in Freeport, NY.
  • Michelle Maskaly of Platinum Horse Media teaches, consults and offers businesses, to become pet friendly, host pet friendly events and help them promote that they are pet friendly. Lifetime Member, based in Lake George, NY.
  • The Shelter Connection recently became a Lifetime Member. A non-profit organization that provides much needed help to the Town of North Hempstead Animal Shelter based in Port Washington, NY.
  • Bobbi Mitchell of Pups on the Runway who creates and hosts Unique Experiences for Pets and their Pawrents, giving back to local animal organizations. They are based in New York City, NY.

“As our organization continues to grow with new members from across the country and from all areas of the industry we strive to offer more member services, help and education for pet professionals,” said Nancy E. Hassel, president and founder of American Pet Professionals. “As you can see we have pet professionals from all areas and expertise as members – and I am excited to welcome each new member, help them with their business goals, referrals, connections, questions and look forward to meeting them in person.”

American Pet Professionals is dedicated to helping educate pet professionals and the organization is introducing more ways for members to learn online and in-person.
