(PRESS RELEASE) Andis Company, an industry leader in animal grooming tools and education, announced three professional grooming experts as new Andis animal educators.

Manuel Graniel (Mexico), Miki Takagi (Japan) and Luiz Renato (Brazil) join Andis’ team of grooming specialists, and they bring their world-class expertise to the Andis Education Team’s mission of providing animal grooming education resources worldwide.

“Andis is proud to have 27 animal educators spanning five continents, and we are not planning on slowing growth anytime soon,” said Nicole Kallish, global education manager for Andis Animal. “We know there is a great need for top-tier education in the animal grooming space. Manuel Graniel

Manuel Graniel got his start breeding Siberian Huskies from 1995 to 2008 with multiple awards including “best in show” as well as “professional handler” for breeds including Boxers, Afghans, Kerry Blue Terriers, Shih Tzus, Pomeranians, Chinese Crested, Poodles and more. He transitioned to commercial dog grooming and has been a grooming instructor since 2013. Graniel is a creator of several techniques for best use and handling of grooming tools and has won awards at grooming competitions in Pasadena, Las Vegas and Mexico. In 2018, she won first place in the Bichon Frise and the all-pure breeds class and, later, won first place in the salon freestyle class in 2019. Takagi also appears in season four of Netflix’s DOG STORY documentary.
