Manuel Graniel

Manuel Graniel got his start breeding Siberian Huskies from 1995 to 2008 with multiple awards including “best in show” as well as “professional handler” for breeds including Boxers, Afghans, Kerry Blue Terriers, Shih Tzus, Pomeranians, Chinese Crested, Poodles and more. He transitioned to commercial dog grooming and has been a grooming instructor since 2013. Graniel is a creator of several techniques for best use and handling of grooming tools and has won awards at grooming competitions in Pasadena, Las Vegas and Mexico. He is also the instructor coordinator for Alianz Canine Worldwide in Latin America and is the ACW Mexico representative. “To be a great groomer, the pursuit of education goes hand-in-hand with expertise in operating professional tools,” says Graniel.

Miki Takagi

Miki Takagi is a professional pet groomer who is a certified Japan Kennel Club A-class trimmer and owner of three pet salons. She is also a competition judge in Japan and other Asian countries. As a competitive groomer, she won many contest prizes in various shows including Groom Expo and SuperZoo. In 2018, she won first place in the Bichon Frise and the all-pure breeds class and, later, won first place in the salon freestyle class in 2019. Takagi also appears in season four of Netflix’s DOG STORY documentary.
