Animal Supply Company, a pet food and supplies distribution firm, has acquired of Bark to Basics, a family-owned business serving independent retailers, daycare/kennels, vet hospitals and groomers in six states.

“Bark to Basics is a great addition to the ASC family, as it furthers our ability to serve our existing customers, welcome new customers, and allow ASC to provide a key brand, Champion Petfoods, makers of ORIJEN and ACANA Dog and Cat Foods, to the Midwest and Texas,” said Don McIntyre, CEO of ASC. “This strategic acquisition also brings additional sales resources to support our delivery of Champion to customers and continue our commitment to providing exceptional service.”
