(PRESS RELEASE) Seattle-based pet wellness brand Austin and Kat announces the release of its “tradeshow in a box” campaign to provide an alternative tradeshow experience for retailers who are unable to participate in the tradeshow season due to the move to virtual environments.

Through Austin and Kat’s retailer website, buyers will have access to a personalized and custom tradeshow experience from the comfort of their storefront or home. The virtual show platform on its website will include access to brand details and exclusive deals for retailers through direct orders and distributors Pet Food Experts, United Pacific Pet and Alamo. A “tradeshow in a box” including product samples can be requested through its retailer website.

“This year, we had to think outside the box, so we invested heavily in making sure buyers could still have the tradeshow experience. By bringing the tradeshow directly to the buyers, retailers can learn about our newest products both virtually and physically in the comfort of their own home,” Kat Donatello, CEO and founder, explains. “We’re so excited to introduce our product to new stores and show existing customers what’s new with Austin and Kat.”

In January 2021, Austin and Kat re-released its classic collection which will be one of the main focuses of its “tradeshow in a box” campaign. Its classic collection is now reformulated with elevated ingredients including Kaneka CoQ10, Longvida Curcumin, and Treehouse Hemp, the first NASC endorsed hemp extraction company.

The Austin and Kat mission has always been to provide exceptional remedies for pets using the benefits of hemp and elevated complementary ingredients. The company continues to focus on expansion in independent pet stores while being an innovative leader in the pet wellness sector. As an employee-owned business, Austin and Kat sticks to its core principles and humble beginnings, which always starts with store relationships and engagement with pet owners.

NASC Media Spotlight

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
