Blue Dog Bakery Proves There’s More Bite to Their Bark With New Executive Hire, Product and Packaging Innovation

(PRESS RELEASE) SEATTLE (Jun. 5, 2018) – Blue Dog Bakery, maker of all-natural premium dog treats, celebrates its 20-year anniversarywith a reveal of their new line of premium meat snacksand exciting growth in their executive team.  

The new Chicken Sticks and Chicken Bites along with redesigned packaging for Beef Sticks and Beef Bites give pet parents more options to treat their dogs with pure protein. The meat snacks are made with USA Premium Beef or Chicken, containing no common fillers (such as wheat, corn or soy) and are free of artificial ingredients and animal by-products. The new packaging is created with transparency and sustainability in mind by reducing packaging waste and including a see-through pane, allowing consumers to view the treats before purchasing. Blue Dog Bakery has a longstanding commitment to creating all-natural, healthy dog treats made in the USA and the new meat snacks are an extension to their line of rewarding treats.

As for growth in the company, Blue Dog Bakery hired on Jean Lizotteas Vice President of Marketing. Jean brings over 20 years of marketing and brand strategy experience as well as a strong track record of growing small to mid-sized natural brands. Prior to joining Blue Dog Bakery, Jean was the Vice President of Brand at MegaFood where she created growth through break out branding and corporate strategy. Her passion for natural small to mid-sized companies brought her to Blue Dog Bakery where she will help tell the brand’s unique story through consumer insight work, product innovation and brand development.
