(PRESS RELEASE) NEW YORK — Dog brands Suzie’s Pet Treats and Brutus Bone Broth have collaborated to create a beef flavored soft chew infused with CBD and bone broth. One in a line of three flavors that also includes chicken and turmeric and peanut butter carob, the new chews are all natural and fortified with a number of nutrients that aid a dog’s health and wellness.

“We’re so excited to have our beef flavored Brutus Bone Broth be part of this exciting new product launch by Suzie’s CBD Treats,” says Sue Delegan, co-founder and CEO of Brutus Bone Broth. “There are a number of benefits of CBD and bone broth and these new chews are an easy and tasty way to work them into a dog’s diet to help with digestion, joint and gut health, anxiety, and more,” adds sister, Co-Founder and Brutus Bone Broth President, Kim Hehir.

“We believe in working with companies that share our values, such as providing pets with the highest quality supplements and treating your pet’s health as seriously as our own. This is why we’re so thrilled to collaborate with Brutus Bone Broth, who share the same mission of helping dogs live happier, healthier lives,” says Rachel Giagnocavo, COO of Suzie’s CBD Treats.

Suzie’s CBD Soft Chews are now available in independent retailers nationwide, as well as on Suzie’s website. The jar of the bone broth flavor contains 45 chews, each with 2 mg of USDA organic, full spectrum CBD oil and 300 mg of Brutus Bone Broth.

NASC Media Spotlight

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
