(PRESS RELEASE) WESTMINSTER, CO – The International Franchise Association (IFA) presented Camp Bow Wow husband-and-wife franchise owners Scarlett and Jason Dalton with its annual Franchisee of the Year Award at its 2023 convention, held in Las Vegas Feb. 28-March 1.

The Franchisee of the Year Award, sponsored by IFA partner Paychex, recognizes leading franchise owners from IFA member brands whose outstanding performance and contributions help protect, enhance and promote the franchise business model.

“We are honored to see two of our long-time franchise owners recognized for their contributions to Camp Bow Wow and to their community,” said Camp Bow Wow President Julie Turner. “Their passion for the business is reflected in all they do for their teams, fellow franchise owners and customers – both human and canine.”

Nominated by their parent company, individuals are selected for their service to their communities, fostering a strong and vibrant workforce, opening the doors for career growth and entrepreneurship, and supporting their fellow franchise owners.

“We opened our first Camp Bow Wow location in 2009 with a passion for dogs and a desire to give back to our community,” said Scarlett Dalton. “We are grateful for our success and growth over the last 14 years, allowing us to continue building strong cultures within our Camps and supporting others in the Camp Bow Wow community,” added Jason Dalton.

The Daltons act as mentors within the Camp Bow Wow family, freely sharing ideas and challenges to help other franchise owners succeed in the industry, all while operating eight Camps throughout Louisiana, Alabama, Arkansas, South Carolina and Florida, with more locations planned. Last year at Camp Bow Wow’s annual convention, Scarlett was selected by her peers to receive the Spirit of the Brand award, given to the franchise owner who best embodies the values of Camp Bow Wow, as well as Franchise Owner of the Year.
