(PRESS RELEASE) FERNDALE, WA — Carefresh, the No. 1 brand of small animal bedding, has officially launched its seventh annual carefresh Gives Back program, an initiative designed to support small animal rescues and shelters throughout the U.S. and Canada. The program invites the public to nominate their favorite local small animal rescue or shelter to receive a donation of carefresh bedding. The donations help provide a clean, comfortable and healthy environment for small pets awaiting adoption.
Since the program began in 2019, carefresh has donated more than 115,000 liters of bedding to dozens of organizations across North America, directly helping hundreds of small animals receive the care they need.
Nominations for 2025 are now open, and selected shelters will receive a donation of carefresh bedding, along with coupons to share with new adopters – making it easier for small pets to get a fresh, healthy start in their new homes. Individuals who submit a nomination will also be entered to win coupons for free carefresh bedding as a thank-you for supporting the rescue community and promoting better care for small animals.
