Celerant Technology Ranked No. 1 Retail Software Provider on the 2023 RIS Software LeaderBoard

Celerant consistently recognized as a top-5 point of sale and eCommerce solution provider for 14 years.

(PRESS RELEASE) Staten Island, NY – Celerant Technology, a leading provider of omnichannel retail solutions, has been again recognized as the No. 1 retail software vendor on the 2023 RIS Software LeaderBoard.

Achieving the No. 1 position for 4 years and ranking in the top-5 for 14 years, Celerant is the most consistent top-ranked point of sale and eCommerce software provider in the market.

“Celerant Technology has again been named the #1 retail software provider in our RIS Software LeaderBoard; they now hold the top spot for the 2 nd year in-a-row,” stated Jamie Grill-Goodman, Editor in Chief, RIS News. “Being in the top 5 for an impressive 14 years and earning the top spot for 4 years, Celerant continues to show exceptional consistency year-after-year. It is worth noting that Celerant has been recognized on our LeaderBoard for over 2 decades, and continues to enhance their retail software each year with new features attributing to their high retail concentration and custom satisfaction scores.”

Each year, the RIS News LeaderBoard ranks the top-20 retail software providers, across multiple retail markets, with a consistent methodology which it has honed and validated over two decades. The rankings are based on three factors- (1) customer satisfaction awarded by retail voters who have used the vendor's software within the last 12 months, (2) retail concentration referring to functionality identified as essential to modern retail businesses, and (3) overall revenue of the vendor.

“Celerant is honored to be the top retail software provider for so many years,” stated Ian Goldman, President and CEO, Celerant Technology. “Considering our rankings are primarily based on votes from our retailers that use our software, we are sincerely grateful they appreciate the technology and services we provide. This serves as confirmation to our commitment to customer service and we thank our retailers for the recognition.”

This year’s rankings follow a year of tremendous development of new technology, integrations and services, to help the company’s retail clients align with today’s technology needs and the rapidly changing needs of their shoppers. While Celerant’s clients already had an advantage during the pandemic, as most were already leveraging Celerant’s eCommerce platform to sell online with same day, in-store pickup (BOPIS), Celerant then launched new applications, such as Curbside Pickup Apps, Virtual Stores and Mobile Shopping Apps. Moving forward, Celerant continues to enhance its software with innovative solutions, most notably, Geolocation Push Notifications, coming soon. Celerant also offers two retail solutions– Cumulus Retail, a cost-effective, SaaS solution for smaller retailers; and Stratus Enterprise, a comprehensive solution with advanced functionality.

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
