Central Bark, which will celebrate its 20-year anniversary this year, announced three new locations and several executive announcements.
The leading doggy day care system, founded in 2003, has grown to nearly 40 locations across more than a dozen states.
The Carol Stream Central Bark location, just west of Chicago, held a grand opening event Feb. 4. The location is owned by Dr. Mondrian Contreras, who also is founder and chief veterinarian at Carol Stream Animal Hospital. Angie and Chris Holbrook opened a location in Oakdale, a Minneapolis-St. Paul suburb, late last year and held a grand opening event on Jan. 28. Finally, Emily and Lisa Fenster joined the Central Bark organization, and they will be the first to bring the brand’s signature Enrichment Doggy Day Care to Asheville and the Blue Ridge Mountains of Western North Carolina.
Meanwhile, Tim Weiderhoft joined as vice president of franchise development, Todd Hillman became director of franchise development and David Allison was appointed to be digital media manager.
