(PRESS RELEASE) ALLIANCE, OH — Coastal Pet’s Authorized Dealer program has been a long standing commitment to the independent pet retailers, providing perks like lower shipping minimums, product training and unique designs. Launched in 2019, the Product Development and Marketing teams analyzed the latest trends in dog fashion to be able to introduce fun, whimsical patterns on our one-of-a-kind ultra-plush material.

In 2021, Coastal Pet will be adding two new patterns to this exclusive line up: pineapples and doughnuts. While food a hot design trend in the consumer world, Coastal also looked to the expertise of our Authorized Dealers when picking the final designs. Hundreds of retailers were surveyed, and the final patterns were chosen based on popular vote.

While this program is an extension of the popular Styles collection, it stands apart with its unique construction. The ultra-plush material is two times the thickness of traditional webbing, making it twice as comfortable for pups! And even though you’ll never find these patterns listed by ecommerce only companies, they are priced to compete with online retailers.

Collars range from $3.32 – $5.39 Dealer price and have MSRPs of $5.99 – & 9.99. Matching leashes are also available, or coordinate them with Coastal’s core color line up.

Exclusive patterns are just one benefit Coastal’s Authorized Dealers enjoy. Interested in learning more about how to become an Authorized Dealer? Send an email to marketing@coastalpet.com for more information.

NASC Media Spotlight

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
