(PRESS RELEASE) O FALLON, MO – Collings Nutrition Solutions (CNS), a leading product development and innovation company, has completed an extensive rebranding and expansion of services in response to a new strategic vision and continued requests from the pet industry. At the heart of the new name is the desire to better communicate services and scope that extend far beyond nutritional sciences.

Over the past few years, CNS has fielded numerous requests from all areas of the pet business to expand services to better support the total product development pipeline from ideation to go-to-market execution. The growth of the pet market, combined with these requests has columinated in a new name, expanded team and broader services.

CNS was founded in 2005 by Dr. George Collings, a board-certified human and pet nutritionist and board-certified food scientist with a 42-year career launching over retail products and building multiple businesses.

“My hope was to build business through new innovation combining nutrition and health, unique processing and strong business planning,” says Dr. Collings. “The company’s continued growth follows a long-term vision of mine to bring a steady flow of solutions to every phase of the pet business.”

With this rebrand, Pet Solutions Group has expanded services to include registration of product in the USA, international export assistance, go-to-market commercialization, sales of retail products, ingredient development and sales, consumer affairs and processing support. A strong team of experts has been added to support nutrition and health, food science, quality, processing, regulatory, business planning, project management, retail sales, brand marketing, and communication.

NASC Media Spotlight

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
