Company of Animals Names E-Commerce Manager

(Press Release) DAVENPORT, FL – The Company of Animals announced the addition of Mimi Simmons to the position of E-Commerce Business Manager.

Simmons’ specialties include business strategy, managing key e-commerce accounts, consumer engagement and international sales. Her unique skill set possessing both analytical thinking, negotiations, and innovative problem-solving skills have given her an impeccable record of accomplishments in business development.

Mimi Simmons will focus on U.S. growth of The Company of Animals’ brands through the ever-evolving e-commerce channel. Simmons’ e-commerce experience will help the company achieve both its near-term and long-term sales and profit objectives. Her primary responsibility will be managing key e-commerce accounts and working with customers to develop consumer education and awareness of our brands. Simmons will also be in charge of monitoring and enforcing The Company of Animals’ stringent Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) policy.

Prior to joining The Company of Animals, Simmons held positions of increasing responsibility within the pet industry for over nine years. These positions, ranging from General Manager to VP of Business Development, allowed her to hone her skills in managing sales initiatives, developing unique marketing campaigns and creating market strategies to grow brands. She has worked with companies like PetStep International Inc., Lucky Litter LLC, and Radio Systems Corp. among others.

With a background in architecture and real estate, Simmons earned her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. The school is a global leader in management education, renowned for its distinctive thought leadership and pioneering approach to learning. Thanks to her broad range of educational interests, she’s been able to seamlessly bridge the gap between industries to bring exceptional value to each organization she has partnered with.
