(PRESS RELEASE) CENTURY CITY, CA – Super-premium pet food and accessory company DOG for DOG, founded in 2010, is demonstrating a renewed commitment to the marketplace for its popular family of pet food and accessory brands. They have already signed two new licensees, and are headed into this year’s Super Zoo Convention in Las Vegas. The first license is with The G-Mason Group, whose other brands include AKC, Animal Planet and Nickelodeon, for a comprehensive line of pet products from crate mats and toys to training pads. The second is Tzumi Pets for a robust assortment of dog food and treats.  Those deals were brokered by DOG for DOG’s exclusive licensing agency, All American Licensing (aalmg.com).

At Super Zoo (superzoo.org), DOG for DOG will be launching their exciting new products ranging from dog food, dog treats, dog beds, toys galore and everything in between. The convention will even mark the triumphant return of DOGS Butter, a long-missed DOG for DOG treat. The Super Zoo convention in Las Vegas is one of the fastest growing trade shows in America, and DOG for DOG is thrilled to be taking part in 2018. They consider this fun, visitor friendly convention to be the perfect event to come back and reveal their new and upcoming products.

DOG for DOG recently developed their new “DOGSDENTAL” dental sticks and toothbrushes, making daily dental care no problem for your furry friend. Then, with natural and wholesome ingredients, DOG for DOG will launch multiple treats like Jerky Sticks, Bac’n Sizzlers, and Kabob Bites. Even the holidays will be getting a DOG for DOG spotlight with “Santa’s Treats,” which includes real meat treats in holiday shapes. All of these treats will be making their debut at Super Zoo. Not only are these products developed with the specific needs of your dog in mind, but also for the dogs that are waiting to be adopted in local shelters or rescues. DOG for DOG is looking forward to continuing their mission of serving dogs in need. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of dogs everywhere.

DOG for DOG’s corporate philosophy is “You Buy, We Donate, They Eat.” The company’s mission and ethos are: any time they sell one of their nutritious—or just plain fun—dog products, they donate a portion of that sale to help a dog in need. DOG for DOG’s donation program works with local shelters nationwide as well as national organizations. DOG for DOG’s new lines are currently carried at Home Goods, Tuesday Morning, Sierra Trading, Nordstrom Rack and many others. With 2016 sales volume of almost $10 million, DOG For DOG is one of the fastest-growing pet food companies in the industry, and at Super Zoo it is DOG for DOG’s objective to sign new licensees as well as make sales on behalf of its current ones.

NASC Media Spotlight

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
