We try to educate customers about proper tank sizes, the importance of having a tank set up and cycled before adding fish, and how many fish they should add at once. They won’t follow our advice, and even argue that goldfish and bettas are fine together … in a 1-gallon bowl. Then when inevitably their fish die within the first day or two, it’s our fault and they want a refund.
