(PRESS RELEASE) Earth Animal is introducing Dr. Bob Goldstein’s Daily Health Nuggets, a whole-food-derived vitamin and mineral supplement for canine and feline wellness.

Dr. Bob Goldstein’s Daily Health Nuggets have been on the market for several years and were reformulated to provide an abundance of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, phytonutrients and omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids that dogs and cats need for optimal health.

“The original concept of developing the Daily Health Nuggets was based upon my concern that the high temperature of cooking dry and canned commercial pet foods destroys all the vital nutrients, vitamins and enzymes. And, although these foods were chemically correct, they were nutritionally void,” said Dr. Bob Goldstein, co-founder of Earth Animal. “The concept of fortifying the foods by adding 30 percent more vitamins to compensate for the loss of cooking didn’t make sense so I developed the Daily Health Nuggets to naturally fortify the over-processed foods and add back what was destroyed by cooking.”

What makes the Daily Health Nugget so effective is that ingredients are kept in their raw state, allowing them to maintain their full efficiency. Their proprietary process uses neither heat nor water during production. Each nugget is full of 100 percent whole nutrients, vitamins and enzymes and offers a boost of nourishment for cooked, dehydrated, canned foods and home-cooked meal diets.

Earth Animal has a third-party test each nugget twice before distributing for E. coli, listeria and salmonella: once before production starts, and again when production is completed.

NASC Media Spotlight

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
