(PRESS RELEASE) EVANSVILLE, IN — Earthborn Holistic Pet Food is planting trees in celebration of Arbor Day, a widely recognized holiday that encourages people to plant trees. Arbor Day helps raise awareness about the importance of trees for the environment, wildlife and human well-being. Earthborn Holistic supports tree planting year-round through their UPCs for Trees programUPCs for Trees program, but always increases the awareness leading up to Arbor Day.
As part of their annual social media campaign, Earthborn Holistic promised “one tree for one comment”. Earthborn Holistic brand ambassadors posted content across their social media channels, on Earth Day, and totaled up how many comments they received from engaged followers. Over 7,000 comments were made online, meaning over 7,000 trees will be planted as a result of this year’s campaign.
Additionally, 4,300 trees will be planted in recognition of an in-store promotional campaign with retail partner Pet Supermarket. To date, Earthborn Holistic has supported the planting of over 1.2 million trees around the world through their longstanding partnership with Trees for the Future.
