Free ID tags from Pet Partners help to return lost therapy animals to their homes.

Pet Partners, an organization registering therapy animals for animal-assisted interventions, has partnered with PetHub to provide free pet ID tags and online pet profiles to new and renewing therapy animal teams. In the event an animal becomes lost, and someone finds it, they can scan the ID tag on any smart phone and it will bring up the pet’s profile including any medical needs and emergency contact information. or

Swees AmericA recently announced that United Pacific Pet will be their first U.S. distributor. Independent retailers in Arizona, California, Hawaii and Nevada will have access to the new Eazee by Foolee deshedding tools, namely the Click & Brush, for dogs and cats through this new partnership.

Phillips to Offer Stores ‘Endless Aisles’ Online

Phillips Pet Food & Supplies recently bought, and the company announced that the site will convert from an online retailer into a resource for Phillips’ brick-and-mortar retail partners. The new format is intended to help retailers by offering consumers home delivery, a digital marketing engine and an online resource to engage pet owners. Store names have been added to the site, encouraging consumers to choose a favorite local store, and in coming months, the site will feature an “Endless Aisles” solution, which will allow any local retailer to sell thousands of items that they don’t have in stock, right from the store counter.

GroomTeam USA has launched applications for the GroomTeam USA Scholarship Fund. There are two levels of awards: one for college education, and the other for grooming education. Fosters provide a safe, loving and stable environment for homeless pets which helps prepare them for their forever homes. The pet food institute recently donated $25,000 to the Human-Animal Bon Reseach Institute to support research on the health and social benefits of the bond between people and their pets. or
