Freshpet Launches Homestyle Creation

It’s a line of chicken and beef patties and Healthy Mixers




(PRESS RELEASE) Freshpet announced the launch of its Homestyle Creations dog recipes — a new line of USDA-certified chicken and beef patties and Healthy Mixers that give pet parents the ability to build custom meals for their favorite canine. Available in select Target and Meijer stores nationwide, Homestyle Creations is Freshpet’s next solution for continuing to drive home their mission to improve the lives of pets through the power of fresh, natural food.

A recent Freshpet survey found that nearly 25% of pet parents do some level of home cooking for pets and even more would love to, but don’t have the time or knowledge to make a nutritionally complete meal. Freshpet wanted to offer pet parents a fast and easy way to make convenient, home-made meals. To make a Homestyle Creations meal, you start with a fully cooked chicken or beef patty, then add one of the three Healthy Mixer options, which are composed of human-grade fruits, veggies or whole grains, to create a complete and balanced meal dogs will love. Upon launch, the Healthy Mixer options available include Cranberries, Carrots & Green Beans; Bananas, Cranberries & Blueberries; and Brown Rice, Pumpkin, Carrots & Green Beans. The chicken and beef patties are formulated to be nutritionally balanced, while the Healthy Mixers are made with antioxidant and fiber rich ingredients, and also include two grain free varieties.
