(PRESS RELEASE) NEEDHAM, MA – Guardian Pet Foods introduces a new product innovation under the company’s NOBL Foods brand: NOBL Himalayan Cheese Treats with Mint.

NOBL Himalayan Cheese Treats are the company’s first canine dental chew offering. Ethically and sustainably sourced, and crafted with only five natural ingredients, (cow milk, yak milk, lime juice, salt, and mint), these dental chews are made to a traditional Himalayan recipe by expert Churpi makers at an altitude of 12,000 feet. Sun-dried for 35 days, and smoked for a distinctive flavor and texture, each minty cheese chew has its own unique shape to help maintain canine dental health for both small and large dogs. The packaging for these Himalayan Cheese Treats are all recyclable, with 60 percent post-consumer recycled material and 40 percent “virgin” material.

“This new product came to life by listening to both our customers and retailers, and is the latest extension of our “no bull, no nonsense” brand promise. Real ingredients, simple feeding, and honest presentation is what NOBL is all about, and our Himalayan Cheese Treats build on that commitment,” said Jim Galovski, Guardian’s co-founder.

NOBL Himalayan Cheese Treats are available directly through NOBL at noblfoods.com and are also available at select retailers.

NASC Media Spotlight

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
