BarkBone chews from Pet Qwerks come in both a variety of sizes and shapes — such as the Dinosaur model — as well as materials. The Dinosaur contains wood and peanut butter. petqwerks.com

Our Pet Qwerks chews — BarkBones and Dinosaur bones were huge sellers. — Sue Hepner, Cool Dog Gear, Roslyn, PA

  • We did very well with Chilly Dog sweaters. They are beautiful sweaters, and people often buy multiple patterns knowing that they are helping out local craftsman in Ecuador. — Diane Goff, Other End of the Leash, Durham, NC
  • Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream. TOW has a really good reputation in our area. I think what makes it one of our best-selling items is that our pricing is lower than our competitors. We have people walk in off the street to buy this item, but most commonly it’s our daycare clients who buy it. We like to keep it in stock on our shelves because it’s so popular and has a good reputation. — Natalie Bosch, Albany Pet Hotel, Albany, OR
  • Our bakery case with decorated cookies did very well. Happy Dog Bakery and Emmi Lu’s Barkery were the most popular. — Danielle Wilson, Bath & Biscuits, Granville, OH
  • Fabdog Doughnuts, They come in a bakery box but instead we sell them individually for $3.99 each on the cash wrap, which is key. — Toni Shelaske, Healthy Pet Products, Pittsburgh, PA
  • Diamond Naturals Beef and Rice Dog Food marginally nosed out Professional Plus and American Natural Premium. Our clientele find several aspects of this line appealing, including; the Diamond name which is well known and generally trusted, the product is Wheat Corn and Soy free, and has a low price point. We like Diamond Naturals because it is a good consistent seller, and often serves as a starting point for customers who migrate to premium lines. — Robert Durham, Willis Feed Mill, Willis, MI
  • The product that sold the most was Junkyard Bones, a local smoked bone that smells amazing and dogs love! — Jennifer Larsen, Firehouse Pet Shop, Wenatchee, WA
  • Icelandic+ Lamb Horns were hot!! We sold them to pet parents looking for a long-lasting chew or a fun way to help keep the chompers shiny white. — Carly Patryluk, House of Paws Pet Boutique, Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada
  • Pet Releaf soft treats in all flavors and tinctures. We offered a 20 percent discount on all of their products for the month of December according to a distributor promo they were running with Southeast Pet. — Victoria Park, Park Pet Supply, Atlanta, GA
  • Earth Animal Chew in their seasonal flavor: Turkey, Cranberry & Pumpkin. Customers already love all the flavors Earth Animal has, but this limited edition really made a big hit! I wish that they sold it year-round. — Kimberly Gatto, The Wagging Tail, Las Vegas, NV
  • Answers had a great BOGO promo on their fermented cow products. We were able to sell their cheese and kefir to new customers and expand the consumer interest to a new audience — people love something free! — Johnna Devereaux, Fetch RI, Richmond, RI
  • NaturVet Quiet Moments Hemp. Passed out samples and it was quite a hit. — Cecelia Michaels, Lickin’ Good Whole Pet Food, Park Rapids, MN
  • Caitec Oven Fresh Bites Parrot Cookies, six flavors, appealing packaging, good price point. People are always looking for a new different treat for their birds. Placed on an end cap and they sell very well. — Paul Lewis, Birds Unlimited, Webster, NY
  • Fluff and Tuff toys have been our top seller for the last year. These toys are durable, cute and the price point is extremely reasonable (one you realize how long they last) — price is anywhere from $15-$25. — Jamee Yocum, BARK, Jacksonville, FL
