(PRESS RELEASE) BOULDER, CO — The Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC) got a big boost from Hill’s Pet Nutrition, a global leader in science-based nutrition. The global company joined PSC as an Icon member – the highest membership level in the organization.
“Industry players like Hill’s are critical to achieving scalable impact in the pet industry. As more large multinational companies join the Coalition, we untap greater market influence to further accelerate the pet industry toward environmental and social business practices,” said Caitlyn Dudas, executive director, PSC.
Icon members are leaders whose investment in PSC to help advance their company’s environmental and social performance while also being important contributors to the PSC’s work on major systemic issues facing the pet industry. Hill’s increased engagement will provide PSC with support to help advance its industry-wide priorities, which include sourcing sustainable ingredients, transitioning to sustainable packaging, and promoting a more diverse, equal and inclusive world.
