(PRESS RELEASE) BELLINGHAM, WA — Holistic Hound, known for its organic CBD, CBG, and functional mushroom supplements for pets, announced it has earned the Quality Seal from the National Animal Supplement Council (NASC). The NASC is a well-respected non-profit organization whose mission is to promote companion animals’ health and well-being and protect and enhance the animal health supplement industry.
“The NASC Quality Seal is awarded only to companies that have successfully passed a rigorous third-party quality audit and demonstrate compliance with NASC’s stringent quality standards, including strict labeling requirements and random product testing by an independent lab,” said Bill Bookout, NASC president. “Throughout the audit process, Holistic Hound showed us their unwavering commitment to achieving the highest standards of quality and consistency within the animal health industry. NASC proudly welcomes Holistic Hound as a newly audited member and applauds their integrity and leadership.”
The NASC Quality Seal identifies products from companies committed to quality, vigilance, and continuous improvement to promote the well-being of companion animals. The Quality Seal program is central to the NASC’s efforts to help elevate and standardize the animal health supplement industry. To obtain permission to display the Quality Seal on their products and marketing materials, NASC member companies must successfully pass an independent facility audit every two years and demonstrate ongoing compliance, including random product testing by an independent lab to ensure ingredients meet label claim.
“We’re thrilled to have this seal that confirms we adhere to the highest standards for our four-legged friends and their parents,” says Ian Butler, Holistic Hound operations manager. “We love getting letters from happy pet parents telling us how much their dogs and cats have thrived on our products, and this is just one more vote of confidence for our consumers that Holistic Hound is committed to only using the highest quality ingredients and utilizing best-in-class manufacturing processes.”
