(PRESS RELEASE) OLYMPIA, WA — IndiePet announced that they will begin formally recognizing the support and innovation of member businesses and brands with a new IndiePet Innovation Awards.
Being honored with an IndiePet Innovation Award will make it clear that these businesses and brands are committed to the independent pet retail channel and that indies are integral to their business and future channel strategies.
Nominations will be considered and judged by IndiePet’s board of directors – all of whom are independent retailers with a solid understanding of what retailers look for in a business/brand partnership.
Nominations must be completed and submitted by June 30th to be considered.
Winners will be announced at the IndiePet Reception at SUPERZOO on August 11, 2026. Winners will receive a token of recognition to display at their SUPERZOO booth, a badge for their membership directory, and ongoing recognition by IndiePet.
