(PRESS RELEASE) SYKESVILLE, MD — Pet Palette Distribution, a Maryland-based national distributor of premium pet products, has recently formed a partnership with Jax & Bones, a California-based manufacturer of high-quality and sustainable products for animals and the people who love them. The distributor will be carrying over 60 of the brand’s best-selling rope and neoprene toys, feeders, and other accessories.

“We are really excited to work with Pet Palette Distribution in 2023,” said Alan Whetstine, Jax & Bones director of sales. “We expect to see mutual success and growth as we move forward with this new partnership.”

Jax & Bones got its start in 2004, combining luxury with sustainability in the design and creation of its products. The materials used are ethically sourced and non-toxic, ranging from eco-friendly vegetable dyes hypo-allergenic fabric made from recycled 7UP bottles. Jax & Bones Good Karma Rope Toys are not only cute, but they double as a pet dental floss during playtime. Hand-pulled and hand-tied from natural cotton fibers, they are a labor of love that also biodegrade if composted. Jax & Bones is committed to donating 10% of all proceeds of the Good Karma rope toys to rescue and animal welfare groups and has donated over $100,000 to date. The company also regularly partners with shelters, nonprofits, and organizations local to its home base.

“Jax & Bones is an innovative and philanthropic company whose products fit perfectly with our current toy assortment, while bringing something new to the table,” said Ron Metzger, Pet Palette Distribution CEO. “They offer the same charming seasonal themes we are known for providing Indy pet, in an alternative material (rope and neoprene). A natural and no-brainer line extension!”

Pet Palette Distribution is an independent retailer-focused wholesale distributor, offering low minimums, fast nationwide shipping, and top-notch customer care to the contiguous United States.

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
