K9 Candy Kitchen was selected among dozens of competitors as a product worthy of the University’s resources. The Center for Dairy Research’s work will focus on a detailed sensory evaluation of K9 Candy Kitchen’s Himalayan-Style Chew sticks. It will also develop a state-of-the-art GMO manufacturing line capable of producing up to 10 million units per year.
“We are delighted to have been selected by the University of Wisconsin’s Center for Dairy Research! It’s a testament to the uniqueness and quality of the product we developed to date,” said Riki Trowe, K9 Candy Kitchen’s president. “This collaboration will allow us to produce the very best product possible while significantly increasing production capacity.”
Based on the Center for Dairy Research’s findings and development work, K9 Candy Kitchen is planning on opening a new production facility in Green Bay, WI in the next six months. The new facility will focus on new product research & development and increasing capacity to meet the demand for its Made in the USA cheese products.
