This Small Business Saturday, Dog Krazy Inc., a locally owned pet supply chain store in Virginia, announced that it is gifting its Leesburg location to longtime employee Cindy Samartino.

Samartino started working at Dog Krazy five years ago and moved from Fredericksburg to Northern Virginia to manage the Leesburg location. It has been Samartino’s dream since fifth grade to own a pet store, so the owners of Dog Krazy, Nancy and Chris Guinn, are making Cindy’s dream come true and giving her the Leesburg location.

Samartino will be changing the name of the store to Wiggle Butts & Whiskers, but the values that Dog Krazy is known for will remain. Samartino’s husband, Tom, a retired U.S. Marine, will be joining in her new venture and helping in the dog bakery that helped earned that location the title of “Best Pet Store in Loudoun County” for the past two years.

The Leesburg location also was an honorable mention in the PETS+ 2019 America’s Coolest contest.

Dog Krazy Inc. has seven locations throughout Virginia. The stores carry all-natural pet foods, practice stress-free grooming, have in-house bakeries for dogs, and have 24-hour boarding and day-care services.
