Matrix Partners Adds Social Media Manager

(PRESS RELEASE) Matrix Partners, an agency focusing exclusively on pet products marketing and communications, has announced Kelly Zenere joined its team as social media manager. Zenere brings 10 years of digital strategy, focusing on social media and SEO advertising experience, to her new role.

As department manager, Zenere focuses on growing the social fan base for clients, developing innovative social and digital marketing campaigns and defining new client key performance indicators. “By properly using social metrics, analytical numbers and working hand-in-hand with client management teams, we’ll be able to convert social media fans into loyal customers,” Zenere sais.

Prior to joining Matrix, Zenere most recently served as social media and account manager for The Weinstein Organization, a direct marketing agency. As part of her role, she was a digital strategist responsible for client acquisition and managing day-to-day operations of the social media department. Her consumer brand experience through the years spans from Weight Watchers, Burger King and Chili’s restaurants.

“We are beyond excited to welcome Kelly aboard,” said Rebecca Tomala, vice president for client and creative services at Matrix Partners. “Her previous experience working with consumer goods agencies makes her a perfect addition to our team. I am confident Kelly’s insights will further strengthen our social media initiatives.”

Zenere holds a BA in mass communication and English writing from Saint Mary’s College. She served a three-year term as marketing chair for the Chicago Chapter of Autism Speaks to Young Professionals and is currently cecretary of the chapter. As a proud rescue dog mom to a poodle mix named Popcorn, Zenere is excited to take the pet industry by the leash and lead Matrix Partner’s social media marketing into the next decade.
