(PRESS RELEASE) CHICAGO – Matrix Partners announces that Krista Ferry has joined its team as PR & influencer coordinator. Having previously served as a PR & social media intern for the firm, Krista is already well-versed with Matrix’s clients and the pet industry as a whole.
As part of her new role, Krista will work closely with the Matrix public relations team. She will be responsible for creating press releases for both trade and consumer audiences, as well as pitching different story angles and product roundup suggestions to editors and journalists. Krista will also aid the Matrix influencer program by coordinating partnerships on behalf of clients.
Additionally, Krista will serve as the key contact for Matrix Partners’ exclusive shelter sampling program. She will work with the firm’s network of over 750 shelters nationwide to place clients’ products into the hands of consumers through shelter fundraising events, like walks, silent auctions, galas and more. Doing so allows Matrix’s clients to connect with thousands of pet parents across the country.
Krista is a recent graduate of Ball State University, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations with minors in Digitial Publishing and Sociology. During her time at Ball State, Krista was elected as VP of Marketing for her sorority, Alpha Phi. When she isn’t connecting with animal influencers, Krista enjoys spending time with her pup, Ryno, and trying to improve her cooking skills.
