(PRESS RELEASE) In the wake of Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton, Metro Paws has partnered with local retailer Hollywood Feed to provide Metro Wipes, their alcohol and paraben-free grooming wipes, to pet parents in their time of need.
“We were sick to our stomachs when we saw the news about Hurricane Helene; when Hurricane Milton hit we had to get involved as soon as possible. We’re based in California and knew the easiest way to provide aid was by reaching out to Hollywood Feed. They have many outlets across several states and it was the perfect partnership,” says Jon Bolton, Co-Owner and Chief Operating Officer of Metro Paws.
Together, Metro Paws and Hollywood Feed donated 1,600 25-count Metro Wipes grooming wipes to those affected by the recent hurricanes. Hollywood Feed offered up manpower, transportation, and on-the-ground support to make sure hurricane survivors got what they need. As hurricane survivors grapple with the devastation, these grooming wipes provide pets and their parents a bit of peace.
Metro Paws isn’t new to helping the pet community. Since its inception over 15 years ago, the brand has been dedicated to helping pets across the country. Through their Love & Licks 501(c)3 Foundation, Metro Paws donates $1 from each Love & Licks product sold to low and no-kill shelters nationwide. Stores can carry these items to easily get involved and encourage customers to give back.
