(PRESS RELEASE) MALIBU — Caroline Artiss, celebrity chef, cookbook author, and CEO of MIGOS DOG, a fresh-food dog brand based out of Malibu, CA, announced at SuperZoo the launch of the MIGOS JERKY treat for dogs. These treats will complement the line’s flash frozen dog food and nutritional supplement.

Available in four single-ingredient varieties – grass-fed Angus Beef, Beef Liver, Beef Heart, and Turkey Breast – each 3-oz bag of oven roasted preservative-free jerky treats retails between $15-$17 and is available for nationwide delivery at MIGOS DOG.

“My goal is to produce the highest quality dog food and treats that a human can eat. When our customers kept asking us to make all-natural dog treats, we answered their demands by creating a single-processed jerky that has dogs begging for more! There’s no rocket science, it’s just oven roasted meats prepared without salt or preservatives that can literally keep as emergency protein food,” stated Artiss. “We’re excited to launch our Migos Jerky Treats at Super Zoo and to start sharing them with dogs across the country.”

MIGOS DOG is thoughtfully prepared to ensure that dogs are getting the proper balance of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids needed to live their lives to the fullest. All ingredients are steamed, pureed and flash frozen. Migos fresh dog food is currently available via delivery in Los Angeles and in select retail locations that include Erewhon and Healthy Spot. The vet approved All-in-One Dog Supplement is for people who want to make their own dog food at home a complete and balanced meal. MIGOS DOG Nutritional Supplement is available for shipping nationwide.

NASC Media Spotlight

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
