(PRESS RELEASE) BOULDER, CO — The Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC) welcomes MPM as the latest company to upgrade its membership to the highest tier, the Icon level. PSC’s Icon members have taken a powerful step to create a world of sustainable goodness for pets and our planet. By joining PSC at the Icon level, MPM reinforces its commitment to responsible sourcing, transparency, and environmental stewardship in the pet food industry. As owners of purpose-driven brands, MPM is dedicated to setting a standard for high-quality, natural pet food that prioritizes the well-being of pets and the preservation of our planet.

“We’re guided by our mission to enrich the lives of pets and their owners through visibly better pet food. We live this by being truly transparent, prioritizing simplicity, and taking responsibility for the impact we have on our pets, our people, our communities, and our planet. We want to make a lasting positive impact on the world through everything we do, which is why we became a certified B Corp in 2021.” Julian Bambridge, CEO

Icon members are innovators whose commitment to PSC drives improvements in their company’s environmental and social impact while also playing a key role in tackling the broader systemic challenges within the pet industry. MPM’s deeper involvement will bolster PSC’s efforts to push forward industry-wide goals, such as procuring sustainable ingredients, advancing eco-friendly packaging, and fostering a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive industry landscape.

“MPM’s unwavering commitment to continuous improvement is evident in their key goals: reducing their carbon footprint, achieving 100% traceability with tier-one ingredient suppliers, and eliminating packaging waste. As signatories of the PSC Packaging Pledge, they are dedicated to transitioning toward refillable, recyclable, or compostable packaging by 2025. MPM actively engages with the Pet Sustainability Coalition as thought leaders, sharing best practices and supporting fellow members by exemplifying successful sustainability strategies. Their progress is meticulously tracked through sustainability audits, supplier reports, and metrics such as carbon emissions and waste reduction. We are proud to have MPM as ICON members of the Pet Sustainability Coalition.”
