(PRESS RELEASE) DEERFIELD BEACH, FL — Nature Gnaws announced it donated 9,600 boxes of its natural dog chews to rescue shelters in 2021. The initiative is called “Gnaw It Forward”, in which Nature Gnaws donates their natural products for dogs who are waiting for their forever home in shelters.
“We know there have been ups and downs for everyone over the past few years, and we particularly know that rescue shelters are working harder than ever to take in surrendered, abandoned dogs, or dogs off the street, and doing really anything to keep these dogs from being put down.” says Steve Mamak, Co-Founder and CEO at Nature Gnaws. “We have been in close touch with our contacts and friends who run shelters and initiatives nationwide for rescues, and this is one way we can help.”
Jay Mokbel, co-founder and COO of Nature Gnaws comments on the initiative’s efforts over the last year, “We donated to over 29 shelters and initiatives locally and nationwide over the last year. It’s certainly hard to see dogs in shelters but we are happy that we have a product that can help these dogs gnaw and chew to relieve anxiety or provide entertainment and mental stimulation. We know shelter workers are working extra hard these days so if we can do anything to help relieve the situation, we are more than happy to be of service.”
