(PRESS RELEASE) DALLAS, TX – Pupco Brands Inc. announces that Mark Hughes has joined the company as general manager/national sales manager.

Hughes' responsibilities will include directing Pupco’s sales team as well as overseeing all administrative functions within the company. In addition, he will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, ensuring that the company’s sales objectives across all regions in the country are met. 

Over the course of 21 years, Hughes has managed all aspects of sales, marketing and advertising building the “Swheat Scoop” wheat litter brand from the ground-up. A few of his accomplishments during this time include creating formulas that led to a U.S. patent being granted in 2013, new product development, and facilitating expansion of the product line from three to 12 products. He also served as the national account manager of multiple major retailers, including PetSmart, Petco and Target, where he led all vendor partnership negotiations.

Pupco Brands has spent years researching cat litters and developing the new “Plenary” cat litter.
