PORTLAND, OR – Women in the Pet Industry Network, an organization focused on women entrepreneurs and leaders in the pet industry, announces that nominations are open in five categories.
Nominations are open to any woman in the pet industry who holds a leadership position in one of the five categories.
The Pet Industry Woman of The Year Award five categories are Advocate, Corporate, Entrepreneur, Rising Star and Solopreneur. From these categories, 25 finalists will be selected – five finalists in each category. A winner in each category will be announced at the Pet Connections Expo on Oct. 2 in Oaks, PA.

Established in 2012, WIPIN serves women entrepreneurs and leaders worldwide. It includes members from all categories within the pet industry, from groomers and veterinarians to pet sitters and pet boutiques.
