Outward Hound Names New SVP of Sales

(PRESS RELEASE) Outward Hound has a new SVP of Sales. The Centennial, CO-based pet product brand has named David Hirst to head its Sales Team. The appointment is effective March 6.

Mr. Hirst brings a wealth of experience to Outward Hound, most recently serving as Vice President of Global Sales for Exxel Outdoors where he sold and represented numerous well-known brands to the mass and specialty channels. Prior to Exxel, he was Director of Sales for the Sporting Goods Channel at the Coleman Company. He also served as head of US Strategic Accounts at K2 Sports. Additionally, Mr. Hirst served as Director of Sales for Outward Bound where he gained invaluable leadership and management skills. 

“Dave has a deep understanding of the global retail marketplace and brings a strategic and collaborative approach which will be instrumental to our continued growth and expansion,” said Kyle Hansen, Outward Hound CWO (Chief Woof Officer). “We are very pleased to welcome Dave to the Outward Hound family.”
