(PRESS RELEASE) SYKESVILLE, MD — Pet Palette Distribution, a Maryland-based leading national distributor of premium pet products, has recently formed a partnership with SnugArooz, a manufacturer of eco-friendly, innovative and interactive toys for dogs and cats. The distributor will be carrying over 60 of the brand’s best-selling SKUs, as well as a rotation of limited-edition products for their seasonal assortments. “We have been big fans of Pet Palette Distribution for quite some time,” said Adam Katz, SnugArooz vice president of sales. “They have a great reputation out in the field and a strong reach across the country. We are excited for this partnership to get underway!”

All SnugArooz rope and plush toys are 100% compliant with the Product Safety Commission ASTM F963 Toy Standard. The materials sourced to manufacture the toys are environmentally friendly – recycled plastic bottles are sorted for quality and then ground down into small pieces to be made into fiber, which is used to create the fabric and stuffing for their plush toys. “Not only are SnugArooz toys affordable, well-made, and unique – they make you happy,” said Ron Metzger, Pet Palette Distribution CEO. “They’re a planet-conscious brand and the efforts that they make in production to reduce their footprint is commendable. We couldn’t be more excited to add them to our catalog.” Pet Palette Distribution is an independent retailer-focused wholesale distributor, offering low minimums, fast nationwide shipping, and top-notch customer service to the contiguous United States.

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
