(PRESS RELEASE) David Levy, CEO and Founder of Pet Product Innovations, is investing in the latest innovation in dog dental care: TEEF! As a 22-year veteran of the pet industry, serial entrepreneur and founder of Zeus and Company, Levy has worked with some of the most innovative pet products on the market. In addition to his investment in the company, Levy will be an adviser and director on the board of TEEF!

“I was drawn to TEEF! because dental care is often neglected but extremely important in maintaining an animal’s overall health,” says Levy. “Unlike current approaches that only mask the symptoms of dental disease or endanger the health of their users, TEEF! actually targets the root cause where they do the most damage — below the gum line. Their product is easy to use and effective, which makes it a game-changer for pet families everywhere.”

Levy founded Pet Products Innovations in 2006. In addition, he also created pet supply distribution firm Zeus & Company.

“It is clear that David is passionate about bringing to market innovative pet products that better the lives of pets and their owners,” expresses Emily Stein, founder of TEEF! “We are extremely appreciative that he believes in our company and we are thrilled to have his support that will help take our brand to the next level of success!”

Pet Products Innovations and TEEF! will be exhibiting at SuperZoo: Pet Product Innovations – booth 1274; TEEF! – booth 1277.

NASC Media Spotlight

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
