(PRESS RELEASE) The time has arrived for the release of Eddie Bauer Pet for fall 2019, a collection brought together by Eddie Bauer and PetRageous Designs. Last year at Global Pet Expo, the company showcased concepts from the newly formed Eddie Bauer and PetRageous Designs partnership. The inaugural 2018 season was wildly successful, and the collection was honored as an industry standout in the dog apparel category. The company builds off that success with its 2019 collection developments at booth 1219 at Global Pet Expo.

Eddie Bauer Pet styles include new performance jackets and vests with new materials, designs concepts and splashes of color. Explore new sweater styles and functional travel items including packable raincoats specifically designed for long or short adventures with inclement weather. PetRageous Designs’ eye for design and ability to combine function with the pet space has delivered a travel accessory that pets will enjoy, and owners will love to have available on their adventures.

“Last year we had a marvelous launch of this collection that proved to satisfy the action-focused functional needs that healthy living and outdoor exploration demands of both pets and pet owners,” said Gretchen George, president of PetRageous Designs.

With nearly a century of outfitting people in outdoor apparel and gear, Eddie Bauer has brought to the pet clothing and accessory space a following of outdoor enthusiasts who are also passionate pet owners.

At first it was just an idea: Animal supplements needed the same quality control that human-grade supplements receive. But that was enough to start a movement and an organization —the National Animal Supplement Council — that would be dedicated to establishing a comprehensive path forward for the animal supplements industry. In this Media Spotlight interview, NASC’s president, Bill Bookout, talks to PETS+ interviewer Chloe DiVita about the industry today: Where it’s headed, what’s the latest focus and why it’s vital to gain the involvement of independent pet product retailers.
