PETS+ Earns Silver for Cover Illustration and Best Single Issue Recognition in TABPI Awards

(PRESS RELEASE) MONTCLAIR, NJ — PETS+ magazine earned the #12 spot in the Best Single Issue Top 25 category of the 2025 TABPI Awards for its July–August 2024 “America’s Coolest” issue.

PETS+ also won a Silver award for Front Cover Illustration (Nov–Dec 2024 issue by Victor Cantal).

“Recognition in both cover design and full issue excellence shows the strength of PETS+ as a whole package,” said Matthijs Braakman, CEO and publisher of SmartWork Media.

David Squires, group editorial director, added: “PETS+ has always been about delivering energy and inspiration to independent pet retailers. It’s wonderful to see those qualities reflected back in these awards.”

The annual TABPI Awards, presented by Trade, Association, Business Publications International, honor excellence in editorial and design for English-language business-to-business publications worldwide.

Other SmartWork Media titles also placed in Best Single Issue: INSTORE (#8), INVISION (#11), Signs of the Times (#15), VMSD (#16), and Big Picture (#25).
