Phillips Brings Essence Pet Food to Massachusetts, Northern California

(PRESS RELEASE) Phillips Pet Food & Supplies, a pet product distributor serving the independent pet channel, has added the new Essence pet food to its Taunton, MA, and Sacramento, CA, distribution centers.

Essence is an expansion brand of Pets Global Family of Brands, the founder of Zignature and Fussy Cat.

Essence dry foods are at least 85 percent animal, poultry or fish protein ingredients. The wet food products are 96 percent meat, fish or poultry protein ingredients. The first seven ingredients in all Essence kibble formulas come from meat, poultry or fish sources.

Essence can serve as an “ingredient elimination” diet because it does not include ingredients that may cause food sensitivities, such as grains, potatoes, peas, alfalfa, flaxseed and sunflower oil.
