(PRESS RELEASE) A month has passed since Hurricane Dorian left its mark on the Bahamas, yet the mounting devastation is still being assessed. In response, Phillips Pet Food & Supplies has partnered with industry brand leaders to provide hurricane relief efforts for the pet parents in the Bahamas.

The generosity of Phillips’ partners is helping to contribute a donation of more than 3,600 products, worth more than $200,000 in retail value. This donation will be disbursed to the Bahamas in small batches as they scale to manage larger donations. A team on the ground in Abaco will be distribute pet food and supplies. The relief effort was spearheaded by Blaine Phillips, former president and CEO of Phillips Pet Food & Supplies and Sheryl Maher, former CMO of Phillips Pet Food & Supplies.

“We were honored when Blaine & Sheryl invited us to collaborate in supporting Hurricane Dorian relief efforts. We are grateful for generous support from the pet industry and are appreciative of our vendors who generously partnered with us in our donation efforts,” says Todd Shelton, CEO of Phillips Pet Food & Supplies.
