(PRESS RELEASE) ARDSLEY, NY — Pura Naturals Pet celebrates Earth Day with inaugural “Team Green” program that furthers their recycling and sustainability endeavors. This includes a 1-Tree Planted initiative for their USDA Certified Organic Tea Tree & Peppermint Shampoo and Conditioner.

We’re doing more than replacing office light bulbs and placing an extra recycling bin. We are champions of organic pet wellness and believers that great products can do amazing things. Our award-winning Tea Tree & Peppermint Shampoo and Conditioner not only heal canines’ sensitive skin, but now serves as a tool to reverse deforestation and help restore habitats for animals when retailers or consumers purchase this combo pack. We’re making an impact to increase corporate social responsibility by planting trees with amazing projects around the world!

Julie Creed, VP of sales and marketing stated “Pura Naturals Pet is eco-friendly and looks for unique ways to continually improve our global footprint. Team Green provides the platform to expand our recycling and corporate sustainability efforts. With 1-Tree Planted, it’s a multi-faceted approach with specific products that are tethered to planting a tree. We have employees rolling up their sleeves and planting trees and doing restoration in specific markets from the boroughs of New York to the beaches along the California Coast. We are also encouraging our retail customers to purchase our Tea Tree & Peppermint Shampoo and Conditioner combo pack that is earmarked with the 1-Tree Planted logo. Proceeds from the sale of these combo packs will be used to help fund our tree planting initiative.”

The stats are staggering;

  • 700 pounds of paper are used by the average U.S citizen annually.
  • 80,000 acres of forest disappear from Earth daily.
  • Tropical forest destruction accounts for about 20% of current greenhouse gas emissions.
  • 80% of the world’s terrestrial plants and animals live in forests and are losing their habitats to deforestation.

“From our local parks to national forests, our families, pets and the environment all rely on trees. Our goal is to plant hundreds of trees for future generations in conjunction with the U.S. Forest Service and amazing reforestation partners around the world.” added Creed.

The benefit of planting trees is felt long term. Trees reduce the amount of storm water runoff, which reduces erosion and pollution in our waterways and may reduce the effects of flooding. Many species of wildlife also depend on trees for their habitat. Trees also provide protection and homes for many birds and mammals.

  2. Capture a photo or video of your dog showing off their trick.
  3. Post the photo or video on Instagram with #TricksforVETreats.

All entries will be featured in Vital Essentials Instagram highlights. Winners will be selected on Jan. 31 and will receive a prize pack that includes five Vital Essentials Freeze-Dried Family Size Treats, an $80 value. These newest additions to the Vital Essentials lineup are great for multi-dog families or for sharing on your pup’s play dates.

“Our high value treats are ideally suited for training puppies, teaching new tricks or reinforcing positive behaviors,” commented Melissa Olson, VP marketing and sales. “Because our treats are made from single protein and freeze-dried, their nutritional value is much higher than other treats that are highly processed. Dogs eagerly follow commands to get their Vital Essentials reward!”

National Train Your Dog Month was established in 2010 and is designed to promote the importance and benefits of training dogs. Stopnicki has been in the pet industry for nearly 40 years, specializing in market development for high quality European brands. Having been dedicated to the aquatics segment from the 1990s into the 2000s, he made the switch in 2016 when he introduced the revolutionary My Family Engraving system brand to both the USA and Canadian market place. As the owner of My Family Canada, he is the exclusive Canadian distribution partner for My Family.

Having solidified the My Family distribution network in the U.S., Stopnicki has transitioned out of the market development role with My Family USA. He is now able to focus on bringing his passion for high-end products and unique pet industry marketing expertise by providing access to the lucrative U.S. pet supply industry to a select number of European brands.

The first two brands that Europet will introduce are Croci Spa from Italy and RelaxoPet from Germany.

Europet is the exclusive U.S. distribution partner for Croci Spa, Pet Products from Italy. Croci was founded in Varese in the 1990 thanks to the entrepreneurial intuition of the Croci brothers. The company later gained success in Italy and abroad developing its own high-quality branded products.

Europet is also the exclusive U.S. distribution partner for RelaxoPet, a compact sound module that provides high-frequency vibrations for deep relaxation in dogs, cats, birds and even horses. Invented by Frank Bendix, the RelaxoPet pro Animal relaxation trainer can be used to relieve anxiety-related stress situations in most pets by influencingstress reaction in a subtle and hardly noticeable way — even preventively.

Europet will be exhibiting at the upcoming Global Pet Expo where it will have officially launch its new products.
