(PRESS RELEASE) VANCOUVER, BC – RC Pets announces the expansion of their Sales Team with the addition of a brand-new role, along with two new hires to their Sales force.

Barney Herrick, previously the US National Sales Manager for RC Pets, has moved into a new role of Business Development Manager. Barney has been in the pet industry for 36 years. He has experience in managing and owning his own store in Southern California, along with several years working in the distribution channel. While working the distribution channel he took on the role of Merchandiser and Product Trainer for stores. Barney’s past roles had him working as Territorial and Sales Manager for key manufactures in the pet trade. We are proud to have Barney in this newly created role.
Stepping into Barney’s prior role, Deborah Collier has been appointed as the US National Sales Manager. Deborah Collier comes to RC Pets with over 25 years of experience in consumer products for big box, grocery, pharmacy and pet retailers (with branded and private label goods). She has worked for both international and U.S.-based companies in various management positions, with 12 years of specialization in the pet industry. Deborah’s experience began in New Zealand via Australia, then sending her to the United States. Sales, marketing, and manufacturing were key roles in her previous positions and bring valuable insight to her new role as U.S. National Sales Manager. Deborah studied business management and marketing at Macquarie Post-Graduate School of Management in Sydney, Australia.

Pam Pike was recently appointed as the new Canadian National Sales Manager. She comes to RC Pets with a broad range of industry experience as an independent sales representative, Vice President of Marketing for a retail technology company, and as a Buyer with Canadian Tire. Pamela’s main role at RC Pets will be expanding the company’s customer base and increasing brand engagement with core customers. As an animal lover (crazy German Shorthaired Pointers are a favourite) Pamela is excited to be joining the pet industry. When not in the office, Pamela can be found hiking, biking or skiing in the mountains or using wine to plan an adventure.
